Happy Easter!

Easter and all its frenzied activities went by in a blur.  Juliana got to dye eggs twice-once at school and once with me.  Despite the fact that no one in our family will actually EAT the eggs, it's still a fun tradition (and one, I'm happy to say, that many kids in my class still follow!)  She got to do the big neighborhood Easter egg hunt the day before and actually participated this year again (remember she flipped out last year and refused to pick up any eggs!!!)  She didn't want to see the Easter Bunny though, so it was just me and Connor (who played it cool and thought it was no big deal).  Juliana said she was going to get 64 eggs, and she probably came pretty close except her basket was too full!  We had fun hiding eggs outside at our house and Grandma and Grandpa's house too.  Juliana and her hiding hobby!!! (rocks, "friends," eggs...what next?)  Of course, she got a rather large basket from the Easter bunny with:     (and a couple of baskets from us, Katie and Brian and Grandma and Grandpa too!)  She even understands a little of what the holiday is really about (seriously, how DO you explain it to a preschooler? )  Hope everyone else had a wonderful Easter this year as well.

This is the cake I made...don't you love all the sprinkles and candy???

My cake and Mommy's cake...which one would you choose?

My basket is full. Now what?
Connor's first picture with the Easter Bunny. Juliana didn't want to come:(

Wow! Look at all that stuff from the Easter Bunny!!
