Spotlight showcase
Juliana took her first class through Spotlight Youth Theatre this fall. She did the summer camp and loved it and we have heard nothing but great things about the organization! I wasn't sure how she would like it since it was more a class instead of a show. She took a class for 8-12 year olds called Character Development: Stars on Stage. They worked on developing a character and portraying this on stage. She really loved her teacher, Ms. Brittney. She was so positive and uplifting. The group is Christian, and they focus on building up kids from the inside out and working for an audience of ONE. At the end of the semester, she had a showcase performance with all the other classes also performing. She was involved in a play called "Nursery Crimes." She played Mary, the Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe's youngest daughter. She has been accused of a crime, while Puss in Boots plays the PI hired to help prove her innocence. Super cute!
