Summer Bucket List

 Now that summer is officially over, I thought I should revisit our summer bucket list!  Here's a list of all we accomplished:)

Whew!  We were busy!  Of course, there were several items that didn't get crossed off the list too.  Oh well, maybe next year.

One of the activities on our summer bucket list was to eat a "food rainbow."  Today, we did just that!  We read the book What Makes a Rainbow? and then enjoyed a very colorful lunch (with matching bowls, of course!)  Red-strawberries, Orange-mac n cheese, Yellow-banana, Green-peas, Blue-blueberries (J. had blue cottage cheese instead!) and Purple-grapes. 

 There was even a rainbow desert!  (vanilla yogurt dyed each color, with a layer of crushed up Nila wafers in between!).  I called it a "rainbow parfait!"

 Don't you think Juliana is dressed perfectly???
