Project Playset: Phase 1

Our backyard is getting a new look.  We recently purchased a wooden playset for the kids.  Of course, it arrived in 5 huge boxes on a pallet, weighing over 700 lbs total!  There were over 225  pieces of wood and more than 500 screws.  Those numbers have dwindled considerably though, thanks to a weekend of hard work from me, Joe, Brian and my dad.  Thanks, guys!

So we are about 2/3 done building the set.  But it is fully functional right now with slide, swings and rock wall/platform, and the kids seem to be enjoying it:)  Connor loves his swing and keeps saying "yeah" (think Joey Lawrence when you say it!).  Juliana also loves the swings, but I think the "store-front window" will be the most popular once it's up!
