Happy Easter!

Last weekend, we began our Easter festivities with an Easter egg hunt in our neighborhood. Last year Juliana had a great time picking up eggs and putting them in her basket, but not so much this year! I don't know if she was tired or just overwhelmed (not sure why because she was just with the little kids in the "toddler area") but she refused to do it. In fact, she didn't even want US to get eggs for her! Oh well. Of course by the next day, all she wanted to do was have an egg hunt:) As you can see, she was not a big fan of the Easter bunny!

This year, we attempted to dye eggs together. It actually went quite well, despite some very stained hands! Juliana had a blast making the eggs change colors and then adding stickers. She also loved the way the crayon appeared like magic! Even though WE won't eat them, we will have to keep up the tradition next year:)

The Easter bunny was VERY good to Juliana this morning!! She had a blast searching for her basket, which was hidden underneath the dining room table. It was full of all kinds of goodies: a Princess puzzle, Dora and Princess nightgowns, dry erase markers, a kite, a ball and bat, TONS of books, a wind-up "jumping" egg, barrettes, nail polish and lip gloss and NERDS:) Of course, she also got a few presents from us, Aunt Katie and Brian and Grandma and Grandpa. Seriously, it was like Christmas in April!!

She did a great job during the church service and had fun at Grandma and Grandpa Giese's house later for dinner and another egg hunt. And, of course, she looked like a princess in her "very pretty dress!"

We hope you all had a great Easter as well:)
