It's just Halloween fun!

Halloween was a bit more exciting this year for Juliana! She talked about it for days, practicing saying "trick or treat" and then "thank you" after getting candy. She knew she was wearing a costume and dressing up in a "fancy dress and fancy shoes" as a princess! We got a head start on trick or treating by heading downtown Naperville the weekend before Halloween with cousin Josiah. It was crazy busy, but we managed to get to a few businesses and score some candy. We even met Curious George and Clifford, whom Juliana LOVES in books....not so much in person! She was terrified (but then of course when we walked away, she wanted "more George!" On Halloween day, we tried in vain to get her to take a nap, promising her she would get to trick or treat when she woke up after a good nap. Usually this works....but not this time! She was too excited about Halloween that she spent 2 1/2 hours up in her crib jabbering away about it all! But then when the time came to venture out (first to Aunt Katie and Uncle Brian's house), she was too tired and pouty to enjoy it much. She really liked seeing the kids come to our house though, and days after is still asking for "more kids come?" Here are a few pics from the Halloween festivities...enjoy:)
